Don't ever order taco bowl from this place, they had a bitter taste like they were fried in oil used over and over for months.. never going back.

I should have known when it was empty to turn around and walk out. Chicken was flavorless, not hot, service terrible, a complete waste of time and money.

It's like a terrible version of Chipotle. Food was bland, salsa was watery, and the chip seemed to be Tostitos.

When me and my family went this place was not clean. The guy helping us was very friendly but the taco meat was salty and my food wasn't hot.

This place turned me down because it was within 15 minutes of closing. Glad they did because now reading the reviews it sounds like the food is old and gets reheated anyways. Thank you for sparing me the food poisoning.

High priced and the food was not good at all. I ordered a grande burrito and it was cold by the time I got to my table. I would recommend going somewhere else. The only way I'd eat here again is if my life literally depended on it. Other than that, no thanks.

Good food. Huge portions. Friendly staff. We were a family of four eating a variety of the food. Machos nachos were my two teen daughters' favorite followed by the cheese quesadilla. It was nice to have the choices right in front of us to choose which types of cheeses, meats, and sides we'd like. Great variety.

By far the worst representation of Mexican food out there. This was fair food with Mexican put in the name. Disgrace to real Mexican food

This place is horrible the food was cold. The beans were old and you could tell the food had been reheated several days. I had heartburn all day. I felt like I’d be sick. This food burned my throat and will prob burn all the way through my system and make a fire 🔥 exit on the way out.

Most bland burrito ever. I had to drown it in cholula just to make it edible. They limit your topping is the main problem. I can go to qdoba and get as many topping as I want for the same price.

I see all the negative reviews and did notice the empty restaurant, however the service was good during our visit, a was the food we ordered. The only thing was I was in the mood for Cheese Quesadillas and their oven was not working. However overall it was a pleasant experience. And for the amount of the food we got, the price was decent, especially for Crown Center.

Love the tacos, fast service, some food needs a little more season but overall it's a great spot for lunch

If i could give 0 stars i would! The customer service was not even bare minimum. Just flat out rude! This type of service ruins businesses. The vegetables are canned and the vegetarian option cost more than the meat option. She charged .99 cent upcharge for changing my meat out for rice. When i questioned her she said its on the menu. Then it was .50 cent for each topping. Please do not go here!

the RUDE evil old lady working ruins my day every time i come in contact with her. terrible customer service. the forks suck. the soda sucks. taco salad is decent.

Terrible food. Tea dispenser had no lid on it. Anyone could have dropped something in there. Food gave my wife and I terrible diarrhea. These 5 stars reviews are either fake or from people who just got out of prison or something. Don't eat here.

We received plenty of food for the money. Enjoyed my smothered burrito with pico, mexicorn & purple onion for toppings while my boys enjoyed their less spicy choices.

I would have gave them no stars if i could have. I went to this location wich was empty. The manager ask me to leave for complaining because I asked if they have been busy, the manager ask why i asked. I explained their ground beef was discolored black and dry, so it looked as it was sitting all day. Im very disappointed with the service, use to be a regular, now will never return. Not worth the stomach ache or the taste less food. Service is everything and this location is suffering from the lack of it.(YOU CAN SEE DISCOLORED OR 2 TONE MEAT FROM PHOTO)PLUS WORLDS RUDEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER.

Food was just okay , service was so-so , at least the guy was friendly , no real silverware so eating our burrito was challenging, just plastic ware and paper plates , all the way up to the tiny hole where you have to stuff you plate down , this whole experience was just terrible . I'll never eat here again .

Similar to Chipotle, Qdoba, and Flying Burrito. There aren't as many choices and extra toppings are more expensive. Overall the food was enjoyable and the service was great! So if you're in the mood for Tex-Mex while in Crown Center, this is the place.

This is consistently good. It's like a local version of Chipotle.

This was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten in my entire life. Taco Bell is gourmet compared to here. Everything about it was bad. The lady working was nice but that's the only positive thing I can say. I wish I could give 0 stars. After the first bite I should have stopped eating but we were starving and had just spent $20. Almost immediately after finishing is when the stomach pain started and both my husband and I had to use the toilet. I am just thankful we didn't feed it to our young child. This place should be shut down. Please if you're at Crown Center DON'T eat here. Literally anywhere else has to be better.

Food was bad, rice was dried even crunchy because of how dried it was. The Sirloin was super dried too it didn't taste like anything. The only good thing was the service provided the lady was really nice.

I've been to Z-Teca in crown center twice. Both experiences were terrible across the board. Bad service, bad food, etc. I was excited to eat there both times I went and couldn't finish my food both times. Not because the portions are so great, but because the food was so disgusting I couldn't eat more than a few bites. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else in Crown Center. Or head down to SW Blvd for some real Mexican Food.

Why is this place even in crown center , It brings all the other restaurants down, gives them a bad name. My stomach starting hurting immediately after eating here.

I’ve never been the person to ask for a refund but this place left me with no other choice, the rice was so hard and crunchy that I had to spit it out like sunflower seeds. The meat was flavorless mush and the veggies weren’t fresh or appealing either. The few bites that I did manage to get down ended up making me sick to my stomach later that day. The only upside was that the employees did not give me any grief on giving me a refund as they seemed to be experienced dealing with this.

Empty restaurant should've been a red flag. Two workers (husband and wife I think) were very rude, I was charged more than the (already overpriced) menu said, and the lady worker made jokes about putting me in a dungeon when I was paying. The food was tasteless and gross. I couldn't finish my meal, and my stomach hurt immediately after eating.

This place was disgusting. I payed 6 dollars for soggy over salted chips and root beer. My friend payed nine for the same and a burrito. The guacamole was way bland. Our table was dirty and everyone was rude. My other friends burrito had no cheese. Thre rest of my food away. Never going there ever!!!!

They clearly don't season their food and it's gross. The temperature of the ingredients is too varied and the hard shell tacos are stale

I paid $8.75 for an order of nachos and drink and I don’t think that I got my monies worth. The guy with the beads on his beard every time I told him that I felt it wasn’t enough cheese he told me that I would have to pay extra. All I was doing was letting him know that I didn’t get cheese on all of my chips. This was my first and last visit.

Steak was very low quality meat. No flavor to meat. Bad food handling practices while preparing the food. Very slow service. Would not recommend to anyone.

We stood there for several minutes waiting for someone to come from the back. Finally, an older man came out and said "be right with you." He took our order, and when we asked for guacamole, he said there would be an extra charge, no big deal... until...I noticed him adding a bunch of other numbers at checkout. When he handed me the receipt there were two extra charges. I asked him what those were for, and he said the corn and tomatoes. He never once mentioned that these were extra, and those were put on BEFORE the guacamole. I don't even see how those are extra, and it was a scam. The food was not good, and generic. There are plenty of other "Mexican" (since that's what they're calling themselves) options nearby. Steer clear of this one. I honestly don't know how they've been around for over 10 years at this location anyway, no one is [understandably] ever there. Maybe desperate mall employees. Anyway, ONE STAR!
